A tall dark handsome man that swept me off my feet. let me start from the beginning a young adult who just moved out of home trying to stand on her own but got distracted by love(not in a bad way though).
His approach was different, she was so used to the local boys from the hood using the same pick-up line all the time, and she ended up giving up on love thinking that true love doesn't exist anymore. I mean we all know that most guys these days just wanna get between your legs and when they are done on to the next one.
This one was different his approach had some sort of respect in it, and the braveness in his eyes gave her goosebumps.he was so straightforward and on point, at first, she was a bit skeptical but his politeness and him being respectful drew her closer to him.she was scared to introduce him to her parents because obviously the only know the bad side about his country, not the good side, but her sisters knew him and they adored him, let me not get too deep about her love story(she hasn't been to Nigeria though, as soon as she visits the country , you guys will be the first to know)
My point is love does exist, we sometimes search for it where it is not available , or follow the rules of our forefathers. I'm not saying we shouldn't but sometimes the heart knows what it wants.
Growth has taught me a lot about life and love, the older you get the more you realize that you are what matters the most. self-love and you having peace of mind is the first priority, you have to do what makes you happy and what makes you feel more alive , travel the world move away from your comfort zone and love those who love you , always do what's right and follow your heart.
my heart is in Nigeria and I don't care if things don't work out in the future but with the kinda happiness I have and enjoying being in love with someone that adores you, support you, respect you and who is scared to lose you is the best feeling in the world
